Lahad Datu

Just because, you know, one rainforest is not enough, we thought we’d go and check out another one. We moved on to Lahad Datu to another fantastic lodge inside the forest. This forest was a little more ‘hard core’ with leeches, tarantulas on top of the traditional snakes & co. This time we walked all around with a stick (or a broom handle, for some). The humidity (100%), noise and crawlies really made it feel like the real deal. I regularly panicked, feeling something crawl on my face before realising it was my own hair. That happened about every minute.
