Rajasthan on horseback (part 2)

Riding on the ridge of a lake hidden by the bush.
The previous monsoon rains had been excellent, meaning the area was much greener than usual for the time of year.

Climbing up the steep hill towards Kumbalghar, a journey many a kings did before us, on horseback too.

The regal peacock enjoying an evening stroll.

The light, always the light.
Morning and evenings are extraordinarily beautiful in India. Yes, you guessed it, it's thanks to the light.

We came across this tree that was full of crows, only crows.

A parakeet, upside down, eating a custard apple, also known as monkey fruit.

The tattoo leaf (below). You press it on your skin and you this (above).

Navigating the thick bush. A lot of peacocks jumping out of nowhere and giving the horses a fright.

A leopard's print.

A village in Kumbalgarh, seemingly stuck in time. So peaceful.

The impressive stairs of a temple. Going down is much easier. Always.

Girls running off when we arrive. Boys, on the other hand, always ran towards us.

The bitless halter on Tara (which means Star). She was born with one eye but does surprisingly well.
