Farewell, Udaipur

above, a photo taken by one of our friends

That’s it, another place we must leave. It’s not easy arriving in a new place but it is so much harder to leave it once you have come to know and love it. We had adopted Udaipur as our temporary home and regret that we can’t make it a permanent one. But the road is calling and we have miles to go before we settle.

A friend recently admitted ‘Charlotte, I really have no idea what the hell you do and where on earth you are. You are so hard to keep track of.’ She is not the only one to feel that way. It’s true we have had terribly itchy feet and I confess that I do sometimes get a little tired of living out of a suitcase - although that feeling never lasts for very long. For the moment life has decided that we must go on and we will continue to do so with a smile on our face and energy in our stride.

We are now off to Dharamshala to spend time with my in-laws. Until my next update, here are some pics of our last few days in Udaipur.
