Strolling around Muscat

To celebrate my mum's 60th birthday and my parent's 30th wedding anniversary, they took the whole family to Oman. We started with a few days in Muscat. 

Some places have very evocative names, names that instantly take you on a journey, and Muscat, for me, is definitely one of them. The intensity of the colours, the warmth of the people, the calm and quiet are all things that I heard Oman was famous for, all of which turned out to be very true.
