We broke down today on the road back from the market. The battery went out and we just drifted until it stopped. We had to call someone to guard it while we walked back home to get it sorted. Apparently it could get broken into if you let a car unattended on the road.

Talking of roads, as you can see from the photo, there are none around here. Just sand and dirt tracks. Kids and adults literally run out of the road they see a car approaching, even when it approaches slowly. And at night, people walk on the side walk (on the sand) in pitch dark. A few days ago, a man stumbled right in front of the car at night. He was completely drunk. Luckily we were going very slowly and saw him in time.
